Pause

i’m not smart

because none of this makes sense

how can your smile be left in the past tense?

it was art

how your heart moved through this earth

great altruism with tons of rebirth

god couldn’t wait

and he brought you closer

…to the date

that i’ll never get over

i know where

you are but you’re still distant

it’s not fair

your hugs are nonexistent

without yours, my smiles will never be new

you brought me in this world,

please

please

take me with you
